A man may become master of his destiny,
when he has power to influence his own mind..
If you aren’t doing it,
that means you don’t want it badly enough,
so stop kidding yourself..!!
Actions speak louder than words, definitely..
…waiting to get the perfect job?
…waiting to perfect time to ask that cute girl?
…waiting to meet Miss Right?
…waiting to start living your life, on your own terms?
…waiting to an offering before you start the career you really want?
…waiting for someone, somewhere to tell you what’s important for you to do?
…waiting to give you permission to do what you want with your life?
…waiting for someone to take care of you?
…waiting for the great adventure finds you?
…waiting for the magic happens?
…waiting to start living, rather than just existing?
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR..??
Look, there’s something that I need to get off my chest. I’ve been thinking about this for a while. And I’ve noticed that our habits are the most part that create our life. It’s our habit that are in charge of our life. Because, the things I do every day are pretty much what I did yesterday and perhaps what I’ll do tomorrow.
One of the things that separates us from “having the time we want” is that we constantly, blatantly, and unapologetically lie to ourselves about our scheduling, abilities, and our priorities. I don’t deny I do it myself. And it kills my time, slaughters my schedule, and smashes my plans to tiny little bits.
But in all seriousness, we do lie to ourselves. For example, when you say “I don’t have the time to …”, that’s almost certainly a lie. Since I can walked on this earth and observing other people, I know that nobody operates at 100% efficiency.
We hate when others lie, but what about when we lie to ourselves? It is not that simple. You tell yourself it’s simple because you’re afraid to face its complexity. Maybe because we are unsure of ourselves, fear, simply can’t be bothered. Perhaps it is our way to assuage our disappointments in life. Sometimes you just have to face up to what’s not working and do something different.
Start with the lies you tell yourself and take action, taking control back…
Stop lying to yourself that you want to change, but are still doing the exact same thing that you did yesterday and the day before and the day before that..
Stop lying to yourself that you want to get in shape, but you haven’t gotten to the gym in months.
Stop lying to yourself that you want financial freedom, but you haven’t bothered to open up an high-interest savings account or start your emergency fund.
Stop lying to yourself that, you say you want a family, you want to be married, you say you want to meet “The One,” but you are always chasing the wrong women. If you really wanted to build a family, you would stop pursuing women you know that there is no future with.
Stop lying to yourself that thinking you’re not ready. Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.
Stop lying to yourself for worrying on what you don’t want to happen. Focus on what you do want to happen. Positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story.
Stop lying to yourself that tomorrow will be different. It will be the same as today, unless you do something different. Do something different today so that your tomorrow will be different. Do something different tomorrow so the next day will be different.
Stop lying to yourself about others & judging them. It’s not their fault. They are not dumber, smarter, uglier, or prettier than you. They are not out to get you, upstage you, seduce you, or bow before you. In fact, they’re probably not even thinking about you. Stop lying to yourself and let others be..
If you want more time, then you have to summon up the courage to be honest with yourself and realize that it’s going to take honesty about where you’re spending your time and the courage to make small (and sometimes larger) sacrifices to make your goals happen. There’s no way around it. Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending..
Perhaps the hardest thing that we can do in our lives is to be honest with ourselves. To be honest with yourself might seem like the hard road but it is the only road that leads to self growth and greater personal awareness. This greater awareness is the key to a more fulfilling life. And, in my opinion it is the only road worth taking. Stop waiting for the changes you want to magically happen — you have to be the catalyst for the changes you want in your life, right..?? 🙂
